How Dangerous is HSV Virus

There are many diseases for which there is no permanent cure till today and genital herpes is one of them. Hsv is the virus mainly responsible for causing infections in human being. HSV-1 and HSV-2 are two herpes virus species which enters the human body in one way or the other and causes various types of illness like cold sores, chickenpox and genital herpes. The person who is affected by hsv will suffer life long since there is no proper treatment for this disease. HSV-1 is responsible for formation of simple sores around the mouth and eyes of the victim where as HSV-2 cause horrible red colored blisters or herpes in the genital area.

The victim cannot escape from unbearable pain when the blisters start bursting. The life of the victim of HSV-2 virus is a virtual hell during the outbreak of herpes sores. This virus is spread through saliva, semen, female genital tract fluid apart from the fluid from the herpes sore when they burst. To educate our people about the severity of this cure less diseases, genital herpes pictures may be displayed at appropriate places.

The disease cycle of the victim may be divided in to 4 stages like prodrome stage, infection stage, latent stage and shedding stage. Spreading of hsv can be reduced by healthy life style and precautions. Though there is no medicine for curing herpes permanently, by using topical and antiviral medicines we can put a break to its spread. There are some herbal and homeopathic medicines which are useful for herpes treatment.
