user names does not appear after boot?
I used to have a list of usernames as icons on the screen after restart my computer. Now there are no icons at all and I am CTRL-ALT-DEL to get a signal on the screen where I can enter my username and password. I deleted all the world except administrator, but the problem occurred shortly after I did. Ideas? I use Win XP Pro, and is completely current.
You need to make another account using the administrator account. The administrator account should not be used as a primary account to log in as administrator for the CTRL-ALT-DEL, as you say.
